How should I act when I meet my Japanese boyfriend's family?

Make sure you are clean & well groomed. This is very important to most Japanese people. Dress neatly and modestly. Don't be loud. Don't talk too much. Try to be yourself. Just be polite as you would with other adults & you should be fine. They already know you're not Japanese and won't expect you to act as such.
