Hows life in San Diego?

Look i kno most of my questions may make me look like a lol but its just the view that the rest of the world gets on usa.K well i've always wanted to club and party but here in australia we have a lil thng called binge drinking and when teens have been drinking alot they tend to do Alot of UNPROVOKED attacks that can even be fatal for some well very few but theres alot of serouis injurys so i was just wondering about moving to USA not just to prty and club but if i really like it there i might even settel down there. So guys could u pls tell how safe San diego is like is there alot of murders and shootings and all that bad crap and also are the clubs and bars safe like u just mind your own business and nothing will happen to u and also which parts of San diego are nice to live and how much do apartments there cost in the safe areas.
