Question for parents who have kids in school.?

I currently have one in college, and I still stay involved. I have her pword and check her grades and ignment status. My money pays for it, and if I don't get the grades and the effort, she gets no money from Dad. While my kids where in public school, everyday after school they sat at the kitchen table and did their homework and I would check it. For every problem they got wrong, I made up two more like it and they had to do them. My wife and I went to every conference, every school event, and if it was school related we funded it. We placed a high emphasis on education. My kids had teachers that were inadequate to say the least, I confronted those teachers, and let them know that I was watching and that they had better get their acts together or I would get lawyers involved, funny thing when you mention lawyers and education, teachers come around, why is that?
